Your room will be ready for you from 3:00 pm on the day of your arrival, and you can visit our spa and wellness area beforehand. We kindly ask you to check out of your room by 11:00 am. Depending on availability, you can request late check-out for a small fee. You can use the Artemacur Spa the entire day of your check-out for a fee of € 15.

Please note that there may be a minimum stay on weekends, public holidays and for special events. Our reservations team will be happy to give you more information. We ask for your understanding that our popular Spa Lofts and Spa Loft Suites (hotel rooms with jacuzzi) are available for a minimum stay of two nights over the weekend.

We kindly ask you to inform us of any allergies or special dietary requests when you book your stay. Our GenussArt dinner includes a vegetarian selection and meat-free options that are sure to treat your taste buds on your holiday in Bavaria. We reserve the right to charge a small fee for special requests depending on the effort involved which we are happy to discuss with you beforehand.

Whilst we do not offer special vegan dishes, the Klosterhof does offer a selection of organic, local products in line with a vegan diet (fruits, vegetables, oils, herbs, grains, tofu, salads, almond and soya milks, muesli, cereals). We deliberately refrain from using industrially produced vegan products.

As one of Bavaria’s most popular babymoon hotels, we pay close attention to our mums-to-be and kindly ask you to inform us that you are pregnant at the time you book your stay.

We have a selection of allergy-friendly rooms available. The Klosterhof is the perfect place for allergy sufferers – we have hypoallergenic mattresses and bed linens available. Please inform our reservation team that you require a hypoallergenic room at the time of your booking. The Klosterhof is officially classified as an “allergy-friendly hotel” by the Berchtesgadener Land Tourism Board.

The Klosterhof has two wheelchair-accessible rooms for guests with limited mobility. We have been assessed on our accessibility and have received the “Accessible for People With Limited Mobility” seal. As your barrier-free hotel in Berchtesgadener Land, we look forward to your visit and will be happy to provide more information ahead of your stay with us.

We kindly ask you to dress appropriately when dining in our restaurant and thank you for your understanding that pyjamas, bathrobes and athletic clothes are not suitable in our Restaurant GenussArt and dining rooms. Bathing suits must be worn in the pool area, and our saunas are nude for hygienic reasons.

Our room prices are calculated for bookings of 2 people. Our double rooms can be booked for single occupancy. Please contact us directly for more information.

Chef Sascha Förster and his team look forward to spoiling you with our multiple-course GenussArt dinner menu from 6:30 pm. Dinner includes an extensive salad buffet with a selection of dressings and toppings, starter and soup, your choice of main dish (plant-based option included), dessert and cheese selection.

From 1:00-4:30 pm, we invite you to enjoy our Klosterhof snack with small salad bar, healthy treats, homemade snacks and cake. This afternoon buffet is free and included in the Klosterhof amenities (excl drinks)

If you would like to skip a dinner with us, we kindly ask you to inform us at reception in advance. We will be happy to refund € 20. This refund applies only to direct bookings (made on the Klosterhof website, by telephone, or by email). Unfortunately, it is not possible to change dinner arrangements at the hotel if you have booked your stay on an external online portal, or with a tour operator or travel agency.

The following local tourist tax rates of Bayerisch Gmain local spa administration have applied since 2023:

• Adults: € 3.50
• Disabled guests: € 3.0
• Workshop and conference guest: € 1.75
• Children aged 17 and under: free

This tourist tax is not included in our rates and is charged separately. In exchange, you will receive a guest card from Kur GmbH Bad Reichenhall. This card allows you to use the Reichenhaller Verkehrsbetriebe city buses for free in the Bad Reichenhall-Bayerisch Gmain-Piding area. Plus, this guest card allows you to use the Berchtesgadener Land Bahn trains from Bad Reichenhall to Bayerisch Gmain and back free of charge.

Dear Families, 
Many guests stay with us to take a break from everyday life. We very intentionally make our hotel a place of calm and mutual consideration for other guests. We therefore ask for your understanding that the sauna area and the relaxation rooms are reserved for guests over the age of 16. 

We are delighted to have you at our Artemacur Spa, where your well-being takes center stage. Of course, you're encouraged to engage in conversations and connect with one another. However, in order to guarantee the relaxation of all our guests, we request that you keep your voices at a pleasant volume. We ask you to observe the quiet time from 3.00 p.m. in the whole spa & pool area and also kindly ask you to point this out to your children.

The Klosterhof is primarily a hotel for guests interested in relaxing and health holidays. Your hosts are parents to three young kids and we all try our best for your children. However, we ask you to keep this in mind when booking your holiday with us. Our reception team will be happy to help you. Unfortunately, we do not have a special children's programme, paddling pool or family entertainment.

In order to get the most out of our tailor-made health and well-being arrangements, we recommend a 14-day stay. Give your body and mind the time it needs to completely relax whilst rediscovering yourself and those around you.

All rooms are non-smoking rooms. Our entire restaurant and Artemacur Spa are also non-smoking. As a health resort, it is very important to us to give our guests a smoke-free holiday. Smoking is therefore not allowed throughout the entire hotel complex. Please note: we reserve the right to charge a € 75 cleaning fee for violations of our non-smoking policy.

A parking space outside the hotel or in our underground car park is available to all hotel guests.

For guests who have booked directly with us, your parking space is included free of charge in our Klosterhof included amenities package.

After receiving binding confirmation of your booking from us, we recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance which, in the event of a cancellation, will pay the applicable fees minus the agreed excess. The unexpected could always happen. To ensure you don’t suffer any financial loss in the event of having to cancel your trip or leave early, we recommend the reliable travel insurance from ERGO Reiseversicherung AG.

Please report any damage to reception immediately. Guests are liable for all damage to buildings or property caused by themselves or their legal representative. The hotel may require guests to provide appropriate collateral (e.g. insurance, deposit, guarantees) to cover any damage.

CANCELLATIONS
We are always sad to hear you can’t make your spa appointment! We ask you to cancel at least 24 hours in advance. We will charge the full amount for no-shows or late cancellations.

TAKE YOUR TIME
Please register at the spa reception 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment.

HEALTH AND PREGNANCY
Please inform us if you have any health issues or are pregnant at the time you book your appointment.

DIGITAL DETOX
Our Artemacur Spa is a place for peace, quiet and relaxation. We ask you not to use your mobile phone in the spa. All mobile devices are forbidden in the saunas for reasons of discretion.
 

CHILDREN
Your hosts are parents to three young girls – we are keen to give special attention to our youngest guests and therefore offer access to the swimming pools for children under 12 years of age every day from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). We ask for your understanding and cooperation. Please do not leave your children unattended in the spa area under any circumstances.
 

SAFETY AND HYGIENE
Please lay a towel down before taking a seat on our loungers or in the saunas. To avoid injuries, no glasses, glass bottles, chinaware or other fragile materials are allowed in the spa area.

We are sorry to hear that you can’t spend your holiday with us. Please tell us in advance if you need to cancel your stay. Direct bookings can be cancelled for free up to 7 days before your scheduled arrival (with the exception of Christmas/New Year’s, during the Salzburg Festivals, or for special arrangements). You can find more information on our cancellation policy in your booking confirmation.

Would you like to go to the airport, train station or one of the many great sights in Bad Reichenhall, Salzburg or our immediate area? We will be happy to organise transfers with our local taxi company.

All Tesla models and other electric cars can be charged for a fee at the Klosterhof. 

The Klosterhof has a limited number of dog-friendly rooms. We kindly ask you to inform us ahead of your holiday if you will be bringing your dog. Because of hygienic and sanitary regulations, as well as for allergy reasons, it is not possible to accommodate your four-legged friend in all hotel rooms or take them to the restaurant or spa area. A dog shower is available for free on our parking deck. We have a surcharge of € 37 per night, regardless of the size/breed of your dog.

If you travel without informing us of your dog in advance and we do not have a suitable dog-friendly room available, we will charge a fee for final cleaning of your room.

We accept the following methods of payment: cash, EC card, VISA and Mastercard. We reserve the right to pre-authorise your credit card for security reasons.
